Change of Address in Registration Certificate

When the owner of the vehicle changes his/her residence within the same RTO jurisdiction, then he/she shall apply for a change of address in RC to the same RTO.
If the owner of the vehicle changes his/her residence or sells the vehicle outside of the RTO jurisdiction where the vehicle is currently registered. Then the owner shall apply for the issuance of a clearance certificate with the registering authority where the vehicle is registered.
