Driving Licence is an official document certifying that the holder is suitably qualified to drive a motor vehicle. 

Licenses are issued by the Motor Vehicles Department through its Regional Transport Offices (RTO). An individual of 16 years of age and above (for a Non-Gear Two Wheeler up to 55 cc) and 18 years and above (for a Geared Two Wheeler and Four Wheeler) can apply for Driving Licence.

An applicant first gets a Learners Licence, then after at least one month after issuance of Learner Licence the applicant can apply for a Permanent Driving Licence.

Date of Birth (D.O.B.) (Any one):

  • Birth Certificate
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Higher Secondary School (HSC) Certificate Board Certificate.
  • LIC Policy
  • Photo ID Issued by Central/State Govt.
  • Pay Slip by Central/State Govt./Local Body
  • Passport

Address Proof (Two of these ):

  • Voter’s ID, Aadhar Card, Passport
Medical Certificate:-
  1. Form 1A (Duly Attested by Registered Medical Practitioner) Above age of 40
  2. Form 1 Self Declaration as to Physical Fitness
