Learner’s Licence - RTO HELP

Driving Licence is an official document certifying that the holder is suitably qualified to drive a motor vehicle.

Licenses are issued by the Motor Vehicles Department through its Regional Transport Offices (RTO). An individual of 16 years of age and above (for a Non-Gear Two Wheeler up to 55 cc) and 18 years and above (for a Geared Two Wheeler and Four Wheeler) can apply for Driving Licence.

An applicant first gets a Learners Licence, then after at least one month after issuance of Learner Licence the applicant can apply for a Permanent Driving Licence.

School Leaving Certificate
Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Higher Secondary School (HSC) Certificate Board Certificate.
LIC Policy
Photo ID Issued by Central/State Govt.
Pay Slip by Central/State Govt./Local Body
Passport

Address Proof (Two of these ):

Voter’s ID, Aadhar Card, Passport

Medical Certificate:- Form 1A (Duly Attested by Registered Medical Practitioner) Above age of 40 Form 1 Self Declaration as to Physical Fitness Applicant’s Photo	1 Passport Size Photo

Please Note

Applicant Must Visit RTO Twice:
Once for Learner’s Licence Test and
Once for Permanent Licence Driving Test.
In Case of Applicant already has a Driving Licence of another Vehicle Class, Then the applicant shall apply for ‘Additional Endorsement of Driving Licence’ (AEDL)
